Meanwhile, Pol Maj Gen Panlop Araemla, deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, confirmed that police are working to interview witnesses to investigate unverified reports that staff may have locked doors to prevent patrons from leaving without settling their bills.

As of Monday afternoon, the confirmed death toll stood at 32, with 73 individuals sustaining injuries, 22 of whom are in critical condition. A concerning number of approximately 45 people, believed to have been inside the venue at the time of the fire, remain unaccounted for.
