A clever improvisation by a boat captain to satisfy a tourist’s desire to see fish has captured attention online. A video, initially shared by Krabi tourism operator Hmee Sarayut, depicts a unique method for underwater viewing.
Innovative Underwater Viewing Technique
The footage shows two individuals on a paddleboard. One person is actively paddling, while the other is positioned face-down, with their head submerged in the water. Many initial viewers expressed concern, mistaking the scene for an emergency rescue operation.
However, the operator clarified the situation, explaining that a customer had expressed a strong desire to observe marine life but was hesitant to dive. In response to this challenge, the boat captain devised an inventive solution.
Customer Satisfaction Through Ingenuity
“The customer didn’t want to dive but wanted to see fish, so the captain went in and made it happen,” the tourism operator stated. This hands-on approach allowed the tourist to experience the underwater world without needing to get fully submerged themselves.
The video rapidly gained traction across social media platforms. Numerous online commenters admitted to experiencing a moment of alarm, believing a rescue was underway, before realizing the humorous and resourceful nature of the captain’s actions.
