New Democracy Program for Executives Begins
The 30th iteration of a specialized democratic governance course for senior executives commenced in Bangkok this past Saturday. The launch ceremony was officially opened by Parliament President Sophon Zarum.
Assoc. Prof. Issara Sereewatthanawut, who serves as the secretary-general for the democracy promotion institute operating under parliamentary oversight, announced that 160 senior executives have been accepted into this year’s program. The cohort comprises Members of Parliament and other political figures, alongside professionals from the private sector and representatives from civil society organizations.
Course Objectives and Scope
The curriculum is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the constitutional monarchy, enhance leadership capabilities, and develop skills in policy analysis. A key objective of the program is also to foster networking opportunities and contribute to the evolution of national administration in response to accelerating global transformations.
The course is scheduled to conclude in March of the following year.
