Man Alleges Months of Manipulation and Abuse by TikTok Fortune Teller
A distressing account has emerged from Thailand, where a man, identified only as Don, claims he was subjected to months of manipulation, fraud, and physical abuse by a female fortune teller he met on TikTok. Don shared his harrowing experience on Facebook to caution others against placing undue faith in supernatural claims, describing the ordeal as the most challenging period of his life.
Deceptive Claims and Growing Influence
According to Don’s narrative, his initial contact with the fortune teller, named Nicha, occurred through the popular social media platform. During their interactions, Nicha allegedly told Don they shared a profound spiritual connection, claiming they had been soulmates across six past lives. She also purportedly stated that a relationship with him would pave the way for her future fame and success.
Don recounted how he struggled to comprehend his entanglement with Nicha, but asserted that she gradually assumed significant control over his life. He detailed that Nicha insisted he remain with her constantly, both day and night, while tending to her supposed illnesses.
Financial Exploitation and Isolation
The allegations further detail Nicha’s alleged financial exploitation. Don claims she repeatedly demanded money from him, instructing him to borrow from others when his own funds were insufficient. To prevent him from seeking external help, Nicha reportedly monitored his mobile phone and electronic devices, closely tracking his communications with family and friends.
Physical Abuse and Failed Escape Attempts
Don also alleges that Nicha coerced him into daily sexual relations, claiming it was essential for her well-being. He stated that any refusal on his part led to anger and physical assault. Multiple attempts to leave the residence were allegedly met with further arguments and violence, according to his account. He also claimed to have attempted to signal for help during Nicha’s fortune-telling livestreams, but these pleas went unrecognized.
A Cry for Help and Rescue
A particularly severe incident occurred on June 2, when Don alleges Nicha slashed his arm. He claims she prevented him from seeking medical attention, forcing him to tend to the wound himself. On June 6, Nicha reportedly posted a TikTok video showing her tending to his injury. Don utilized this opportunity to make a hand signal for help, which was eventually noticed by a friend.
His friend subsequently contacted officers at Min Buri Police Station and collaborated with the accommodation’s management team. Don was successfully rescued on June 8. Following his rescue, Nicha was taken to a police station for questioning, while Don received medical treatment for his arm injury.
Public Warning and Past Allegations
Don stated his decision not to pursue legal action against Nicha stems from his desire to avoid any further contact with her. He elected to share his story publicly to warn others about what he described as deceptive and dangerous behavior. Since his social media post, several online users have commented, making allegations about the fortune teller’s past conduct. Some have claimed she has used multiple names and previously defrauded individuals who believed in her purported supernatural abilities.
