A young woman sustained serious injuries after leaping from the third floor of a building on Soi Buakhao in Pattaya late last night, June 3rd. Reports suggest the incident stemmed from significant personal stress.
Emergency Response and Initial Findings
Emergency services and medical personnel were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11:10 PM following a report of a fall from a height. The building in question is five stories tall and houses a beer bar on its ground floor. Onlookers, including staff and foreign tourists, reportedly gathered outside after the 19-year-old woman fell from an upper level.
Rescue workers administered immediate first aid before transporting the woman to a local hospital for urgent medical attention.
Background and Potential Motives
According to a staff member at the establishment, the injured woman is the girlfriend of the foreign owner of the bar. The incident occurred on her birthday.
The staff member recounted that the woman had been consuming alcohol at the bar prior to going upstairs to a room. Shortly after, a loud noise was heard, leading to the discovery that she had jumped from the third floor.
The same staff member indicated that the woman had frequently expressed feelings of stress and personal difficulties. While acknowledging she had occasional arguments with her boyfriend, the staff member believes her distress was not solely attributed to the relationship.
Furthermore, the staff member claimed the woman had made a previous attempt to jump from the building, but was prevented from doing so by her boyfriend.
Ongoing Investigation
Authorities are expected to thoroughly review the circumstances surrounding this alarming event.
